David Larbalestier has returned to being Acting Director of the Applied Superconductivity Center and is the first Chair of the new graduate Department of Materials Science and Engineering in the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. His tenure home remains the Department of Mechanical Engineering and he remains Chief Materials Scientist of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory at Florida State University.
