Bio
Associate Professor at Gregory School of Pharmacy, Palm Beach Atlantic University. He advised over 50 scientific projects for undergraduate and graduate students during his academic career in Brazil and United States.
The focus areas of his research are: 1) molecular epidemiology of Staphylococcus aureus infections, including whole genome sequencing analysis; 2) Tests for new drugs against Gram-positive and Gram- negative bacteria, and 3) molecular pathogenesis of bacterial infection in mouse and rabbit.
He served as the group coordinator of professionals fighting the Covid19 pandemic in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for two years.
