Adalio Sanchez is a tech industry veteran with a long track record of operating large complex multibillion-dollar global technology businesses. Adalio spent 32 years with IBM Corporation where he held various senior executive officer and general management roles. During his tenure at IBM, Sanchez was instrumental in developing many technologies for IBM’s early personal computers, spearheaded the formation of the Bluetooth industry consortium that made today’s popular wireless technology ubiquitous, and oversaw the creation of several of the world’s most powerful microprocessors, servers, and supercomputing systems. Following IBM, he was Senior Vice President of Lenovo Group and CEO of Quantum Corporation. Now a seasoned public company board director, Sanchez is Chairman of the board of ACI Worldwide, Inc, and serves on the boards of Avnet Inc, Snap One Holdings Corp., and ASM International NV. He is also on the Board of Trustees of the MITRE Corporation and Chairman of the Florida International University Foundation. He was elected into the National Academy of Engineering this year.
